About Us

The idea for Luma Home came to us after having 4 children, including 3 boisterous boys. It was almost a weekly occurence of something being accidentally knocked over, causing all my beautiful home decor to end up smashed and in the bin. Instead of waiting until my children were old enough to know better, I thought there has to be a better alternative for mums who still want a beautiful home whilst their children (or even grandchildren) are still young.

This is when Luma Home was born. I took my passion for organisation, design and creating beautiful objects, taught myself how to use CAD design programs and began 3D printing home decor for around my own home.  

My passion in the 3D printing world didn't stop there. I turned to every part of my home and started organising it all using 3D printed objects so everything had a place. 

After this, I realised there would be a market for mums, carers, grandparents, or anyone who had little fingers around their homes in aesthetic, minimalist and kid friendly home decor, whilst staying affordable.
